What is the daily schedule like?

The day begins with a variety of self-service breakfast options, followed by a morning meditation as the first planned activity. The afternoons are a combination of free time and planned group activities - usually on-site but often we do at least one off-site fun activity. After dinner we gather for an evening reflection led by one of the attendees followed by small group discussion time. The rest of the night is free time, usually filled with games, movies, karaoke, and other fun!

We will be staying in a large vacation home for the duration of the retreat where you are likely to be sharing sleeping quarters with other waffles. If you have specific concerns, please contact the planning team in advance.

If you are local to the retreat location (or if you just want to drive/carpool), you can just drive there! Should I bring extra money?

Your registration covers transportation to and from the airport for those who are flying into GRB International Airport, lodging, food, and all official retreat activities. The retreat schedule will include large blocks of free time where you may wish to have extra spending money for snacks, souvenirs, or anything else.

What if I register for retreat, but am unable to attend?

Why haven't you brought retreat to X location?

We consider geographical region when we are choosing a Retreat location and we do our best to make sure we move around and visit close to everyone. Unfortunately, there are many factors including cost, transportation, and lodging capacity that limit our choices. If you have a specific location you think would meet our needs, let the team know!

Who plans the retreat each year?

Great question!!

Meet the planning team here!

Can I arrive or leave retreat on a different day?

The retreat house will be open for arrival beginning at 10 AM Wednesday, and all attendees must leave the house by the scheduled departure time per our rental agreement.

Please contact the planning team if you need to arrange a late arrival or early departure, we will do what we can to make it work!
